Making Macarons

Yesterday I met up with my good friend Shayla (www.koushouniette.com) to make macarons. We made a super small batch to experiment with colors. Here are some photos. Enjoy!

We had an amazing day and learned a lot about how color can effect your product. FYI If you put too much red food coloring into your macarons they turn into pancakes.

Shoot me.

Yesterday I did a photo shoot with my good friend Julie. (sincerelyjules.com) She styled the shoot and did an AMAZING job. I wanted to take all of my outfits home with me!!! I always have to bring my own shoes because I have miniature feet. :)

It's been a long time coming...

Hi loves! Sorry I have been absent from the blog world for so long. I have finished my kitchen classes at school and just started my internship. For our final we could make any cake we wanted, so I made a super princess cake. I absolutely loved the outcome and it tasted amazing, with lemon chiffon cake, raspberry jam filling, and vanilla buttercream.

I also have to share two adorable photos with you. The first is my boyfriend's friend's daughter with the birthday cake I made her. The second is my 9 month old nephew, Keegan, eating with a Teletubbies hat on. Both of these photos make me smile. :) 

P.s. I got the new iPhone, so my photos are going to be much better 

and I will be posting more often. :)

Versace Spring 2010
