THE Perfect Way to Get Ready for Summer

Now, I am not saying that I am a health or fitness guru, but I do try to eat healthy for the most part. (except for the fact that I have at least one sweet a day) I will admit that getting into the routine of working out, to be ready for bathing suit season, is not my favorite thing to do... BUT I think that I have just found my solution...Cirque School Workout Classes! A veteran of Cirque Du Soleil has opened up a gym in LA that combines circus arts with full-body fitness workouts, with a cardio warm-up and an intense Pilates cool down. Under the Sea Sugar Showpiece

Last week was a week of sugar. We were all assigned to make an "Under the Sea" themed sugar show piece that had to include a blown sugar fish, blown sugar bubbles, straw sugar, three casted pieces, pressed sugar base, net sugar, coral sugar, and pulled sugar seaweed and flower. I am officially the WORST blogger EVER!!

I honestly think that my last post was over a month ago. I have been sooooo busy with school and moving. (photos to come) My boyfriend and I had a huge move from an amazing downtown LA loft to an equally amazing duplex in Beverly Hills. We have decided that it is neither an upgrade or a downgrade but an amazing change. I am guessing that our dog Umbrella is voting upgrade considering she now has a yard. (I don't think I could have better neighbors than Chanel)

I am now in my second to last lab class at school and am trying to take in every moment. I am so happy to be close to graduating, but I am going to miss school so much. I love being able to wake up 5 days a week and spend all day doing what I love most with some of the best teachers possible. If only classes went on forever........maybe not. 

Anyways, this weekend we had a party at the store (www.barracudashop.com) and I made a ridiculous amount of cupcakes. All with hand piped logos out of royal icing. The photos aren't the best...but they will do.

This weekend is COACHELLA!!! So I will have lots of photos to share and there is another party at the store next week. If you are in LA for sure stop by. It should be amazing...and I am making more cupcakes and cookies!!!
